Vmail For Android Review

On August 31, 2011, in Android Apps, Top 10 Android Apps, by lordkensal

Vmail is free video mail. So this is quite a cool little app – and hot off the press, so could be a new contender for our Top 10 Android Apps.

The thing I like about this that you are not bogged down with a text editor, once it is set up. The developers have set it up so that what you get is Vmail, it’s all video all the time. You don’t save the video, name it, store it, attach it, or do anything with it at all. It’s just one click to record, one click to send. You don’t even need a Vmail address!

But this is much more than just and Android App. You can use Vmail on your desktop, in your browser or on your phone, they are linked to each other so updating one updates them all. There are complete video threads with all your contacts, you can do groups, and your Vmail login is good for our cutting edge, video based social network, VideoPenPals.net.

You have to get your pals on to the Vmail network – but if you have relatives or friends you like to send video messages to then that is pretty cool. It is like a email version of Skype.
